Dayton Region Walk of Fame

The Charity's Children Project was immensely proud and honored to receive recognition on behalf of Charity Davis Ceasar Broady for her induction into the 2023 Dayton Region Walk of Fame. Alongside Mrs. Broady, Dayton Daily News sports journalist Tom Archdeacon, Emmy and Grammy Award-winning comedian/actor/writer Dave Chappelle, and retired Five Rivers MetroParks CEO Marvin Olinsky were also inducted. The 400+ plus attendee luncheon was held on Wednesday, October 11 at Sinclair Community College.

 

In what the Dayton Daily News called "a compelling tribute elegantly pinpointing the resilience and relevancy of Broady’s legacy and lineage," Patricia Smith Griffin, Broady’s fourth great-granddaughter, addressed the impact of such a momentous occasion with several friends and "Charity's Children" in attendance.
