Woodland Park Tour
Patricia Smith Griffin had the honor of presenting at Dayton’s Woodland Historic Cemetery and Arboretum, where she highlighted the legacy of the Black abolitionist organization, the American Sons of Protection, as well as celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of her great-grandmother, Jewelia Galloway Higgins. The Charity's Children Project extends its gratitude to the Montgomery County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society for the invitation to honor their remarkable ancestor and her enduring contributions to the Dayton community. It was a memorable occasion celebrating Jewelia Galloway Higgins’ profound impact and legacy.
